Ideal For

Delis rely on these containers for hot lunch combos such as curry with rice or pasta with salad, keeping portions neat and presentable. Restaurants and takeaways use them for two-course meals, chef specials and family-style portions that customers reheat at home. Caterers appreciate the professional black base when serving corporate lunches, event catering and buffet-style meal boxes. Food producers and meal prep companies find the compartments essential for portion-controlled ready meals destined for retail chillers or direct-to-consumer delivery.

Picture the lunchtime rush at a busy deli counter: staff quickly fill one compartment with hot lasagne, the other with dressed salad, snap on the clear lid and hand it across. Later that evening, a customer reheats the entire container in the microwave without transferring food to another dish. At a catering event, rows of these containers sit ready in hot boxes, the clear lids letting servers identify each meal type instantly.

Good to Know

Stack containers flat to maximise storage space and maintain lid seal integrity. The clear lid offers excellent visibility, reducing order errors during busy service periods. When additional lids are needed as spares, the Clear Lid for 36oz 2-Compartment Microwaveable Container (255x190x20mm) is available separately. After use, rinse containers and dispose of them in recyclable waste streams where local facilities accept polypropylene.
