Takeaways and restaurants package side salads and accompaniments for delivery orders, knowing the hinged lid stays closed in transit. Caterers appreciate the professional presentation when preparing individual salad servings for corporate events, conferences, and private functions. Food producers and commercial kitchens use them for portioning prepared foods destined for retail or wholesale distribution.

Picture the morning prep shift at a busy deli, staff filling rows of these containers with freshly made Caesar salads, Greek salads, and superfood mixes ready for the lunchtime rush. Envision a catering team assembling individual side salads for a corporate lunch delivery, each container neatly stacked and visible through the clear PLA. Consider the food truck operator who needs reliable, eco-friendly packaging that customers can see through while queuing, helping drive impulse purchases of colourful salad options.

Good to Know

As a compostable PLA product, these containers break down in commercial composting facilities. Store in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and heat sources, as PLA can soften at elevated temperatures. The square shape stacks efficiently for storage and maximises fridge space. For best results with dressings, consider adding these separately or just before serving to maintain salad crispness. The hinged lid eliminates the need to stock separate lids, simplifying inventory and reducing packaging waste.
