Soup PE Paper Lid (16oz)

Soup PE Paper Lid (16oz) provides a secure, press-fit closure for 16oz soup containers, offering a paper-based alternative to fully plastic lids. The lid is precision-pressed to match the rim profile of compatible containers, seating firmly in one push and staying secure during transport. Perfect for food service businesses that want the look and feel of paper while maintaining reliable leak resistance for hot soups, stews and broths.

Ideal For

Takeaways and delivery services rely on these lids to keep soups, chowders and hot broths secure during transit without spills or leaks. Delis and hot food counters use them for grab-and-go soup portions, pressing lids on quickly at the pass during busy lunch rushes. Caterers serving corporate lunches, events and functions appreciate the neat paper appearance when presenting soup courses. Canteens in workplaces, schools and healthcare facilities benefit from the easy one-push seal when serving high volumes efficiently. Cafés offering seasonal soup specials use these lids to maintain a consistent, quality presentation for dine-in takeaway orders.

Picture the morning prep at a busy deli: staff ladle hot vegetable soup into containers and press these lids down firmly before sliding them into the hot display. At lunchtime, a delivery driver collects a stack of soup orders, confident the secure fit will survive the journey in a delivery bag. Later, a caterer portions butternut squash soup for an office lunch, each lid seating cleanly without fumbling or double-checking the seal.

Good to Know

These lids are designed for fitting at the point of service, pressing down in one motion onto the container rim. Store flat in a clean, dry area away from direct heat sources. The PE coating provides the moisture barrier needed for hot liquids but means these lids cannot go into standard paper recycling or home composting. Where a dedicated cup and container collection scheme operates, these can be accepted for specialist recycling. Pair with compatible 16oz soup containers for optimal fit and seal integrity.
