Soup PE Paper Lid (26/32oz)

Soup PE Paper Lid (26/32oz) is a PE-coated paper lid designed to fit both 26oz and 32oz soup containers. This dual-fit design means you can stock a single lid line for two container sizes, reducing storage complexity and making busy service periods smoother. Perfect for cafés, takeaways, canteens and caterers who need reliable, secure lids for hot soups, stews and hearty portions.

Key Features

• Material: PE-coated paper, offering a paper-based alternative to fully plastic lids
• Size/Capacity: Fits both 26oz and 32oz soup containers on the same rim diameter
• Pack size: 25 per sleeve, 500 per case
• Eco credentials: Not accepted in standard paper recycling or composting due to the polyethylene lining. Requires dedicated cup or container collection where available
• Compatibility: Pairs with the 26oz White Soup Cup for a complete serving solution

Ideal For

Takeaways rely on these lids for sealing large portions of soup, chowder and curry safely for customer collection or delivery. Canteens and workplace cafeterias use them to cover hearty servings of stew, chilli and hot pot dishes during self-service. Caterers depend on the secure fit when transporting batches of soup to events, functions and off-site locations. Delis offering soup-of-the-day specials appreciate the quick, one-handed lid application during lunchtime rushes. Food trucks serving winter warmers like vegetable broth or seafood chowder benefit from the reliable seal that keeps contents hot and prevents spills.

Picture the midday rush at a busy café: customers queue for large portions of homemade soup, and staff grab lids without checking sizes because one lid works for both 26oz and 32oz cups. At a catering event, trays of lidded soup containers travel across town in delivery vehicles, arriving sealed and presentable. In a deli setting, a customer orders a 32oz portion of minestrone for the family, and the lid seats securely with a satisfying fit, ready for the journey home.

Good to Know

Store lids in a dry location away from heat sources to maintain their shape and sealing integrity. The PE coating provides a moisture barrier but means these lids should be disposed of through dedicated container recycling schemes rather than standard paper or compost bins. For a complete serving setup, pair with the 26oz White Soup Cup available from PrestoPak. When fitting the lid, press down evenly around the rim to ensure a secure seal before handing to customers or packing for transport.
