Ideal For

Takeaway restaurants use these bags to package complete meal orders, keeping hot food containers upright and secure during customer collection or delivery handoff. Delis and food shops rely on them for packing sandwiches, pastries and chilled goods at the counter, giving customers a sturdy carrier that handles the weight of multiple items. Bakeries find the generous 14-inch height perfect for tall cake boxes and stacked bread loaves. Retail stores and gift shops use them as an affordable, professional-looking carrier for clothing, homeware and boxed products. Cafés hand them to customers purchasing beans, merchandise or takeaway lunch orders.

Picture the Saturday morning rush at a busy deli counter: staff quickly drop wrapped sandwiches, a pot of soup and a bottle of juice into one of these bags, fold the top neatly, and hand it across with confidence that the bag will hold. Or consider a takeaway restaurant during Friday evening peak: containers of curry, rice and naan slide into the gusseted sides, standing upright without tipping, ready for collection. At a farm shop, staff use the natural kraft finish to complement their artisan brand while packing customer purchases of cheese, preserves and baked goods.

Good to Know

SOS bags feature gusseted sides that expand outward to accommodate bulky or irregularly shaped items, providing greater capacity than flat paper bags of similar dimensions. Store in a dry environment to preserve paper integrity. The natural brown kraft finish pairs well with printed labels or stickers for branding. After use, customers can place the bag in standard paper recycling. For heavier loads, consider doubling up or upgrading to a larger SOS size.
