Ideal For

Cafés and coffee shops use these bags for packaging ice for iced coffees, cold brews and blended drinks throughout busy service periods. Restaurants and hotels rely on them for back-of-house ice storage, keeping ice clean and accessible for front-of-house beverage stations. Takeaways and food trucks benefit from the compact size when providing bagged ice with drink orders or storing ice for cold food displays. Caterers find these bags essential for transporting ice to events and functions, ensuring a ready supply for drinks service on location.

In daily operations, these bags prove invaluable during morning prep when filling ice wells at coffee stations, throughout lunch and dinner service for restocking bar areas, and during event setup when pre-portioning ice for efficient drinks service. The transparent material allows staff to quickly assess ice levels and quality without opening bags, reducing waste and maintaining hygiene standards in fast-paced kitchen environments.

Good to Know

Store bags in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight to maintain material integrity. The 62.5 micron gauge provides sufficient durability for ice handling while remaining easy to tie or seal. As a food-contact safe material, LDPE is suitable for direct ice storage intended for beverage use. After use, empty bags can be recycled with other soft plastics where local recycling facilities accept this material type. For larger volume ice requirements, consider pairing with the Large Ice Bag 12" x 18" for bulk storage applications.
