It is ideal for businesses committed to sustainability without compromising on hygiene standards.

• Pack size: Sold as 1 unit
• Eco credentials: Compostable and biodegradable under industrial composting conditions
• Compatibility: Designed for use with Kentucky mop heads and compatible handles

Ideal For

Restaurants and takeaways rely on colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination between kitchen floors, dining areas and washrooms. Cafés and delis use red fittings to designate high-risk sanitation zones, keeping food preparation areas safe. Hotels and B&Bs implement colour-coded janitorial equipment across multiple floors and room types to maintain consistent hygiene protocols. Commercial caterers and food producers working in HACCP-compliant facilities appreciate the clear visual distinction that colour-coded fittings provide during audits and daily operations.

Picture the busy lunch rush at a city-centre restaurant: the kitchen porter swaps a worn mop head and needs a reliable fitting that clicks securely into place. In a hotel housekeeping cupboard, red fittings instantly signal which equipment is reserved for bathroom cleaning, reducing training time for new staff. At a food production facility, inspectors can verify at a glance that sanitation protocols are being followed correctly.

Good to Know

This fitting pairs seamlessly with the White Kentucky Mop Head (16oz) for effective floor cleaning, and works with the Red Interchangeable Handle (49") or the Red Kentucky Mop Handle with Metal Fitting for a complete colour-coded setup. PLA materials should be stored in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight to preserve their integrity. For disposal, industrial composting facilities are recommended to ensure proper breakdown of the bioplastic material.
