Ideal For

Restaurants rely on wire pot scrubs for cleaning stock pots, saucepans, and baking trays after service. Takeaways and fast food outlets use them to quickly remove carbonised oil and food debris from woks, fryers, and griddles between batches. Hotel kitchens and catering operations keep these scrubbers at every wash station to tackle the high volume of cookware that accumulates during events and breakfast service. Cafés and delis find them essential for scouring milk-scalded pots and cleaning toasted sandwich presses.

Picture the end of a busy lunch service: a chef reaches for a wire pot scrub to attack the burnt cheese residue on a gratin dish before it sets hard. In a takeaway kitchen, the fryer baskets get a quick but thorough scrub between closing and cleanup. At a catering venue, the dishwashing team works through stacks of roasting trays, each one needing serious scrubbing power to restore it ready for the next function.

Good to Know

Wire pot scrubs are intended for use on robust cookware such as stainless steel, cast iron, and heavy-duty aluminium. Avoid using on non-stick or coated surfaces as the abrasive steel may damage the finish. Store in a dry location between uses to preserve the galvanized coating. For hygiene purposes, replace scrubs regularly in high-turnover environments. Pair with appropriate washing-up liquid or degreaser for best results on heavy grease deposits. Once worn, dispose of via metal recycling streams.
