Stocking a Physio Clinic
1Choosing the right couch roll width
Couch roll comes in two common widths and the right one depends on your application. A 20 inch (500mm) roll covers a standard treatment couch fully, which is what most physiotherapy and sports injury clinics use. The 10 inch (250mm) roll suits narrower beds, massage tables and podiatry chairs, and works out cheaper per patient if you only need to cover the head end.
Full-width cover for standard treatment bed.The default for most physio clinics.
Narrower beds, massage tables and chairs. Lower cost per patient.
2Nitrile or vinyl gloves?
Nitrile is the better choice for hands-on treatment: it is stronger, more puncture resistant and gives better tactile feedback, which matters for soft tissue work and dry needling. Vinyl is a cost-effective option for lower-risk tasks like cleaning down between patients or handling equipment. We stock powder free and lightly powdered options, as well as all common sizes are available so you can keep small through extra large on the shelf.
