Ideal For

Bakeries rely on these 8 inch cake cards as the foundation for decorating Victoria sponges, birthday cakes and celebration tiers before sliding them into boxes for collection. Coffee shops use them under cheesecakes and gateaux in chilled display counters, giving each slice a neat, presentable base. Patisseries and cake decorators appreciate the clean silver edge when piping borders or adding fondant finishes. Caterers count on the rigid board to transport desserts safely across venues without wobble or damage. Delis serving fresh cream cakes and tarts find they stack neatly in the fridge while keeping each cake separate and hygienic.

Picture an early morning in the bakery: a batch of filled sponges cooling on the bench, each lifted onto a silver cake card before buttercream goes on. Later, the finished cakes slot into 8x8x3 inch boxes, the card giving structure so the icing stays perfect on the journey to a birthday party. In a busy café, a single cheesecake sits on its card in the display case, ready for clean slicing straight to the plate. At a wedding venue, a caterer stacks boxed cakes in the van, confident the boards will hold firm over every speed bump.

Good to Know

Store flat in a dry area to keep the board crisp and the foil finish unmarked. The cards are food-contact safe and provide a hygienic barrier between your cake and any surface. For a complete presentation kit, pair with the Silver Aluminium Flan Dish (8" 23mm) when baking flans or tarts, then transfer to a card for serving. The White Cake Box (8x8x3") is sized to fit these 8 inch cards snugly, making boxing quick and secure.
