Kitchen Master DD1 Drain Digester (2x5L)

Kitchen Master DD1 Drain Digester is a professional-grade biological drain treatment designed to keep commercial drainage systems free-flowing and odour-free. Formulated with a specialised blend of bacteria, this drain digester naturally breaks down grease, fats, oils and other organic matter that accumulates in drain lines and grease traps. It provides an effective, eco-conscious alternative to harsh chemical cleaners for busy food service environments.

Ideal For

Restaurants and takeaways rely on DD1 to prevent grease buildup in busy kitchen drains after high-volume frying and food preparation. Cafés and delis use it to maintain clear floor drains and sink lines where coffee grounds, milk residue and food particles accumulate daily. Hotel kitchens and large catering operations benefit from reduced grease trap pumping costs when using this product as part of their regular maintenance routine. Food producers and processing facilities apply it to manage the heavy organic loads generated during production cycles.

Picture the end of a busy Friday service: fryers have been running all evening, sinks are draining slowly, and there is a faint odour near the floor gullies. A regular application of DD1 keeps those drains flowing freely. During weekly deep cleans, maintenance staff dose the grease trap to break down accumulated fats before they become blockages. In quieter periods, overnight treatments allow the bacteria time to digest organic deposits thoroughly, ensuring Monday morning starts without drainage issues.

Good to Know

For best results, apply DD1 during low-usage periods such as overnight or after service, allowing the bacteria time to work without being flushed away. Regular dosing, typically weekly or as needed based on kitchen volume, helps maintain consistent drainage performance and reduces the frequency of professional grease trap servicing. Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. Pair with routine physical cleaning of drain covers and grease trap inspection for a comprehensive drainage maintenance programme.
