Ideal For

Restaurants and takeaways rely on this drain opener to keep kitchen sinks flowing freely after heavy service, dissolving accumulated food waste and grease from prep stations. Hotels and hospitality venues use it to maintain plumbing across guest bathrooms, staff facilities and commercial kitchens. Canteens and school kitchens benefit from its ability to clear U-bends clogged with food debris without damaging existing pipework. Caterers and food producers use it between production runs to ensure drains remain clear and hygienic.

Picture the end of a busy Friday night service when kitchen drains are sluggish with grease buildup, or a hotel maintenance call about a slow-draining shower. This product sinks through standing water to reach blockages at depth, reacting with fats and grease to convert them into easily dissolved soap compounds. It handles hair, food waste and accumulated grime in a single application, restoring normal drainage without the hazards associated with sulphuric acid products.

Good to Know

The highly viscous formula significantly reduces splashing risk during application, making it safer to handle in busy kitchen environments. The high specific gravity allows the product to sink through standing water, reaching blockages deep in the U-bend where they form. Sodium hydroxide in the formula reacts with fatty acids to produce a soap-like substance that flushes away easily. Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. Always follow manufacturer safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment when handling caustic cleaning products.
