Ideal For

Delis use these plates for plating sandwiches, wraps and salad portions at the counter. Cafés and canteens hand them out with pastries, scones and light lunch items during peak service. Caterers rely on them for buffet spreads where guests help themselves to appetisers, cheese selections and dessert bites. Sandwich bars move quickly through high volumes, passing plates across the counter with portions of chips, sides or sweet treats. Hotels and conference venues use them for coffee break service, offering biscuits, petit fours and finger sandwiches to delegates.

Picture the Saturday morning rush at a busy deli: staff plate up bacon rolls and sausage sandwiches, handing them to customers queuing out the door. At an evening reception, trays of canapés rest on these white plates, circulating through the crowd. In a school canteen at lunchtime, dinner staff serve fruit slices and cake portions rapidly, clearing tables just as quickly thanks to simple disposal.

Good to Know

Store sleeves flat in a dry area to preserve shape and prevent moisture absorption. The tight stacking format means plates pull away cleanly one at a time, helping busy staff maintain speed during service. After use, empty plates can go into paper recycling streams. For messier foods or sauces, consider pairing with napkins or using a liner to simplify cleanup. These plates suit cold and dry foods best; for hot, wet or oily items, check suitability or consider a coated alternative.
