Ideal For

Cafés use these sheets to wrap sandwiches, paninis and toasties for takeaway orders. Takeaways rely on them as a barrier between hot chips, burgers or fried foods and their boxes, keeping packaging grease-free and presentable. Bakeries line baking trays and wrap pastries, scones and bread rolls for display or customer collection. Delis separate sliced meats, cheeses and prepared salads to maintain freshness and prevent portions sticking together. Caterers find them invaluable for buffet tray lining and portion control when preparing large quantities in advance.

Picture the morning rush at a busy café: staff grab sheets to quickly wrap bacon rolls and breakfast baps heading out the door. In a fish and chip shop, each portion of chips gets lined before hitting the box, ensuring customers receive food without a soggy, grease-soaked container. At a weekend farmers market, a baker wraps each sourdough loaf in greaseproof before placing it in a paper bag, adding a professional touch while keeping butter-rich crusts from marking the packaging.

Good to Know

These sheets are certified to EN 13432, meaning they will break down in industrial composting facilities but are not suitable for home compost heaps. Store in a dry location away from moisture to maintain their grease-resistant properties. The generous 300x450mm size folds easily without tearing, making it versatile for wrapping items of various sizes or cutting to fit smaller trays. Pair with compostable food boxes and bags to offer customers a fully sustainable packaging solution.
